questions

  • It all begins with an initial call. It’s important that you get to know me and feel comfortable about our therapeutic relationship. I offer a 15 minute consultation call to answer questions. I work to address a variety of needs, but not all.

As a practitioner it’s important for me to know my ethical limitations and only treat issues where I have direct training and experience.

At this time I do not do telehealth EMDR. I find this modality is most effective face-to-face.

If you are a local in the Northeast area of Florida I see clients at my office (located close to the St. Johns town center).

  • I recognize the evolution of therapy and how telehealth can reach more clients in all types of communities including clients with time limitations or restricted resources to get to a face-to-face appointment. The stress of travel is eliminated.

  • Telehealth sessions provide a safe connection at the convenience of your own space. Therapy is about the trusting and confidential relationship with you and your therapist.

  • I require completion of intake paperwork prior to an initial session and an initial set up in client portal. I send confirmations for appointments and require a 24 hour cancellation notice to avoid charging a cancellation fee. A safe environment with a secure wi-fi connection, with video and microphone access is required.

  • I do accept insurance. Click Schedule Appointment on the top of this page.

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a form of psychotherapy designed to quickly and effectively address traumatic memories and distressing symptoms. In a typical ART session, clients are guided by a therapist to recall specific distressing events while simultaneously engaging in guided eye movements or other bilateral stimulation techniques.
